BNHS Girl Scouts dominate 70th Provincial Junior & Senior Camp

Bayambang National High School Girl Scouts dominated the 70th Provincial Junior and Senior Camp on November 22-24, 2019 at Capitol Beach Front, Lingayen, Pangasinan with the theme, "Treasuring the Past, Shaping the Future."

Different contests were held and BNHS Girl Scouts successfully bagged the following awards:

  • 1st Place - Group Face Painting (Senior Level)
  • 1st Place - Best in Camp Gadget
  • 2nd Place - Best in Camp Layout
  • 2nd Place - Cleanest Camp
  • 5th Place - Best in Decoration
  • 5th Place - Most Featured Spot






BNHS participates in 2019 Drug Abuse Prevention & Control Week

Bayambang National High School-Infanta participated in the 2019 Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Week on November 18-22, 2019 with the theme, "Katarungan Para sa Kalusugan, Kalusugan Para sa Katarungan."

Various activities were conducted for the one-week celebration. These were essay writing, poster making, slogan making, and jingle making. A symposium was also held to provide additional information about drug abuse with the help of the Infanta Police Station Personnel and the Supreme Student Government officers.

Meanwhile, winners in the different contests were given recognition.

Modelo is new SSG President

The Supreme Student Government Officers and Adviser for the School Year 2019-2020


Grade 12-ICT student Joven N. Modelo claimed this school year’s presidency in the Supreme Student Government (SSG) election to lead the new set of officers.

“Youth leadership is essential because it plays a vital role in developing character of teenager and it helps us to establish a network which would later help in making positive changes in the community,” said Modelo, the unopposed standard bearer of the Leaders Empowering Advocacy on Development (LEAD) Party.

The newly elected officers are: Joven N. Modelo (President); Jaycel C. Lupague (Vice President); Jian Ralph H. Alqueza (Secretary); Rona Joy P. Bantiquete (Treasurer); Dianne C. Boniel (Auditor); Albert M. Mayo (Public Information Officer); Precious Abegail C. Vidal (Peace Officer); Kharl T. Cantil (Grade 7 Representative); Jeff Kedryk L. Asuncion (Grade 8 Representative); Errol John A. Melgar (Grade 9 Representative); Kyla Mae T. Mayo (Grade 10 Representative); Nathaniel N. Serapion (Grade 11 Representative); and Khing D. Mirador (Grade 12 Representative).

“This year’s set of SSG officers will try to leave a mark by implementing projects and activities that are anchored in the core values of the Department of Education, Maka-Diyos, Makatao, Maka-kalikasan, and Makabansa,” Ramir M. Mojeca, the SSG Adviser, proudly stated.

He added that immersing students in the world of leadership will really empower them and give them the gate pass to come up with solutions to problems.

Bayambang National High School-Infanta Softball Team bagged the championship after defeating Unit II-A (Binmaley) in a 5-inning championship game and extended its reign to eighteen years in the 2019 Division Athletic Meet softball tournament at the Lingayen Beachfront, Lingayen, Pangasinan on October 28-30, 2019.
